New Orphanage Building Project

Plans have been developed to build an orphanage building that will accommodate for the needs of more local orphans. Through God’s grace, Open Door Mercy Home will one day be able to house one hundred orphans with a safe home that provides nutritional food, quality education, Christian teachings, and a sense of family. The ground floor will house the living quarters for the children and wardens as well as kitchen and bathrooms. The upstairs will be used for classrooms, study, dining hall, and prayer. Theology, computer, and tailoring classes will also be facilitated on the upper level.

The building project will be broken into two phases. Orphans will be able to live in the building immediately following the completion of the first phase. Phase one (ground floor) will cost exactly $114, 545.45 USD and can be completed in four to five months. Phase two (upper floor) will cost $85,909.09 USD and can be completed in three months. Each floor will have 4,200 sq. ft. The completed building will total 8,400 sq. ft. and will immediately impact the orphaned population within the community of Eluru.

project goals:

Phase One (ground floor): $114,545.45 USD
