Open Door Mercy Home is a Christian-based orphanage located in Eluru of central India. Eluru is a largely agricultural and heavily impoverished community of roughly 214,000 people. Positioned 333km east of Hyderabad, it is within the Andhra Pradesh state and the West Godavari District. It currently has one of the highest percentages of HIV/AIDS infected people in India, resulting in countless orphaned children.
